What is Task?

What is Task?

Task is a platform that makes it easy for any type of activity to be tracked and verified, with the people involved being rewarded. A breakdown of the typical use cases are:

  1. A business can engage their employees – whether tracking their health or social impact, aligning team behaviour with brand beliefs
  2. Large communities of people can be engaged, often with the aim of changing behaviours for the better – gathering remote data, and rewarding the individuals for taking part
  3. Investors and funders can bring financial support to Social Enterprises, Task provides real-time reporting back on how their funding is utilised, creating funidng network effects as confidence is increased
  4. Getting funding into the projects that are making a difference – the Social Enterprises and NGO’s willing to provide some transparency against the manner in which they use Donor funds

How transparency can accelerate performance

Key features

  • Create projects with tasks that can be distributed to “Taskers” who complete the work from their mobile phones
  • Verification of tasks to allow appropriate checks to be performed by team members before a task is considered complete
  • Provide payments using “blockchain tokens” that provide high-levels of tracking, as well as forming part of a “redeem system” that allows transfer of these tokens to traditional currency or rewards/vouchers
  • Bespoke reporting that means organisation can report back on the work they are achieving, with immutability thanks to the data being stored within the tokenised blockchain ledgers
  • Task connects to other applications to allow automation and control of workflows, as well as export of data into third party systems
