This is a technical guide that will take from creating a new Task account for your Food Bank business, all the way to creating food recipient workflows as well as reporting and Donor management.

We advise that you start at the beginning, work through each section - but do skip exercises that are not relevant to you later on in the course.

  • Make this “Outreach update” task automatically publish its content to Facebook and Twitter

Managing Food Requests

  • Create a Food Request project that allows people to create secure food requests
  • Setup verification and decide which team members can verify food requests
  • Complete a verification of an inbound food request

Before you complete the next video, make sure you have:

  1. Created a Zapier account - and are logged in to it
  2. Have added the Task Zapier integration to your Zapier account

By the end of this second video you will know how to:

  • Understand the benefits of using "meta data" to link task activities together

Extra options

7. Providing your team with payments and rewards

By the end of this video you will know how to:

  • How to add a blockchain token to be used as a payment method
  • Understand the way in which your team will earn tokens, and how they accrue them inside their Task wallet

This is just a taster of what can be done with Task token payments and we recommend you contact us if you'd like any help.

8. Donation support and tracking fund usage

By the end of this video you will know how to:

  • Enable funding on your project so that you can take donations
  • Improve the setup so you provide the right messaging to your donation audience
  • Automate the amount of funding to be taken using data gathered during the request phase

... and we do an end to end run through to map out the journey we've created - a food request is made, it gets verified, an order is queued for the delivery team, and when this is completed the right amount of funding is used to report to the donors.

You should now have a completed end to end process driven system to scale out your food bank. You can report back to donors, automate your impact reporting, and increase the efficiencies of your team.

We hope this has been of help - any problems, please chat to our support.
