Modelling Klipfolio data

Reporting & analytics

Once your data sources have been setup, you can (optionally) start to model your data. This lets you setup data structure using a table type format, it easier on the eye and makes working on your data easier.

Here are some useful references for you:

Aligning your data

This is very important – your Task analytics database provides the data in JSON format to Klipfolio. In your activity data, you will often have different feedback attributes, meaning the feedback JSON structure is different between different activities.

The data pulled into Klipfolio does not correctly process these blank data sets, and consequently the data in your table will be misaligned.

It’s very easy to fix with “kf:fill_elements”. Read this article at the section that exlains how to use kf:fill_elements.

Make sure you scroll through your table data and check data alignment is correct. Remember, for any attribute that can be sent as blank in the JSON, you must use “kf:fill_elements” to fix alignment.
